RECOMMENDATIONS:

Slick Stixxx are designed for use only with Slick Rags or other
cloth material wrapped around the component ends.

There may be certain applications (i.e.; very dirty areas and excessive
rubbing/scrubbing) that will require doubling the rag or the use
of a thicker rag. We have found micro fiber cloths to work very
well in this application and they are available at Slickstixxx.com.

Wrinkle finish motors and cast surfaces are particularly rough on
both rags and Slick Stixxx component heads. Extreme care should
be taken to continuously monitor the condition of the rag. Frequent
inspections for holes and thinning are required for safe operation.
Our lint-free and machine washable MF 70/30 Micro Fiber cloths are
perfect for this application.

If the component cleaning tip breaks through the rag you are using,
there is a chance that it could mark the wrinkle finish or billet
aluminum. Discontinue cleaning if the tip breaks through the rag.
Move the component end to a fresh area of the rag and continue cleaning.
- Slick
Rags are washable and should be go od for many uses. Neither Slick
Rags, nor any other cloth, last forever. You should inspect the
cloth for holes and thinning before each use and replace it appropriately.

- Ensure
that the butt end cap or another component end is in place on the
butt end of the handle before each use and changeover, to protect
against any exposed aluminum that will inadvertently scratch the
surfaces of your vehicle.

The handles are made from tempered aluminum. They can be bent and
re-bent to meet your individual needs, however, we do not recommend
this operation as repeated bending will weaken the aluminum and
eventually cause breakage. Do not attempt to bend the handles if
they are connected with a ferrule connector. If you find that bending
the handles is necessary to meet your needs, additional component
handles and cleaning heads can be purchased at Slickstixxx.com.
